We are thrilled to welcome Karen Sun, M.D., a board-certified internist and certified expert in integrative and holistic medicine, as well as the founder of the Integrative Wellness Center, as a special presenter at the retreat. Dr. Sun's expertise and insights will be a special added experience, and we are so fortunate to have her join us for this transformative event.

Dr. Sun will present "Thriving Through the Ages: An Integrative Approach to Lifelong Wellness," where she’ll discuss the often-overlooked impacts of neglecting sleep, exercise, and stress. She will also highlight the crucial role of balancing hormones, supporting detoxification, and nurturing your body to thrive at every stage of life.

What’s Included

  • Reset and recharge in a secluded spacious avocado orchard nestled in the hills above San Diego. Immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of nature, savor glorious sunsets, and marvel at a sky full of stars that ignite endless possibilities. Enjoy elegant accommodations featuring 7 private rooms and 4.5 bathrooms on expansive grounds perfect for roaming, exploring, slowing down, and breathing deeply.

  • Experience rejuvenating yoga, Pilates, breathwork, hiking, and sound baths led by certified individuals. Each day will feature different activities, offering opportunities for self-reflection and a gentle reminder to slow down and honor the amazing capabilities of our body and mind. All fitness experience or levels are honored.

  • Over the course of the retreat, there will be approximately 6-7 hours of respectful, safe, inclusive conversations, and questions, as well as activities and guided visualizations focused on exploring and reconnecting to your true, unrestricted essence. The aim is to provide you with the space to reconnect with yourself, free from distractions, and discover what unfolds within. From this newly discovered space, you’ll be able to make clearer choices and decisions that align with your true self.

  • Investing in yourself includes a virtual pre-retreat meet and greet to connect with fellow attendees, followed by a 3-night stay in a beautiful, nature-inspired private room. Enjoy accommodations with a saltwater pool and hot tub, and healthy, delicious meals, snacks, and beverages from Thursday lunch to Sunday breakfast. Engage in daily movement activities, experience a rejuvenating sound bath, and participate in all group coaching sessions. Most importantly, dedicated time for your self-care!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The coaching activities are group sessions and generally an hour during the morning and 1.5-2 hours in the afternoon after lunch. The coaching consists of safe non-judgement space with thought provoking inclusive conversation, asking questions, visualizations exercises, and movement (standing up and sitting down) activities. We are generally outdoors but depending on weather, sometimes coaching sessions are indoors.

  • While we won’t be providing wine or alcoholic beverages, you’re welcome to bring a bottle of wine to enjoy in the evening or after coaching and movement activities have concluded, whether indoors or on the grounds.

  • You are encourage to attend with a friend or sibling (non-romantic partner) with whom you'd like to deepen your connection. Throughout the retreat, we’ll be stretching and strengthening our vulnerability muscles, with the goal of building a deeper connection to ourselves. This inner connection beautifully serves us when we seek to connect with others and truly be understood.

  • Partners are welcome to attend without engaging in the group coaching sessions. Feel free to reach out to Claudia for pricing details, which will vary based on whether they wish to join the movement activities.

  • Absolutely! Whether you're a first-timer or super experienced, all levels are honored. Our movement instructors tailor the activity to accommodate everyone, including individuals with limited mobility or injuries.

  • The hike is optional, but we’ll invite you to join us for a restorative nature walk at Daley Ranch, with trail access conveniently located near the retreat venue. The hike is easy to moderate in difficulty and will last about an hour, after which we’ll head back to the retreat venue. If you prefer not to participate, you’re welcome to relax at the venue and enjoy the pool, hot tub, or some quiet time on your own.
